As a 911 operator i am snrpoesible for not only the safety and well being of the caller in an emergency situation, but also the responding police or EMT's. What makes you think that we didn't meet with, and talk to, the candidates we are upisortpng. Party affiliation is not supposed to matter in a BOE election. The sad truth is that the majority of the BOE practices partisan politics and you are content to go along with it because you don't know the candidates. Are they perfect. No they are not. Will they put education ahead of politics ? Yes they will. And right now that is what is needed to reverse the downward spiral of education in Pennsauken. The teachers and parents deserve a BOE that puts the education of children ahead of being the municipal employment agency for the politically connected.

Let me be clear, I fully support the Pennsauken GOP and their goal for this town, but we daeigrse on tactics at the moment. I have to address simhteong that really bugs the crap out of me. I am a foster parent in a small county. There are so many young teens and children that need to be placed, but due to all the red-tape, moving children in to foster homes outside of their counties doesn't happen.I think that Foster parents should get more of a break tax wise, this is not a money making ordeal, it is an affair of the heart.I think that our Government needs to figure out a way to combine the counties monies, and counties should not have to juggle funding around so much. I would like to see a day when human life is more valuable, and takes more presidence.

Jennie took the most wonderful ptecuris of my kids. It was the first time for a picture of all 3 of them together and my 3 year old was not very cooperative. I was so afraid that the pics would be really good of the older 2 but not so good of Harper due to her being whiney and fussy. When we got the proofs I was stunned, you would have never known that Harper was not a happy camper for the shoot. I loved them all and had a tough time with my ordering because they were all perfect. I felt like my kids personalities were captured perfectly!

Yes, I read a lot of Austen fan fiction the mroajity of which pertains to Mr. Darcy & Lizzie Bennett.The Bill Bryson was interesting but dry at times.Of the rest, the only two I did not particularly care for, and therefore would not recommend are Return to Sullivans Island and The Three Weissmanns of Westport. The rest were all good reads.

Mr. Price, I appreciate that you mncmeot under your own name. Some of us, for various reasons, feel as though we cannot without having repercussions come back against us or ours. But I'm reading your posts and you rarely mention quality of education. It's all about politics, and by extension, doing exactly what the Dems are doing now.Sure, I get that the BOE is a political entity. But at what point does good governance trump politics? How will the conservative principles to which you subscribe translate into readying Pennsauken's students for the global economy? I subscribe to being slightly left of center, by the way. But those of us who are non-partisan are not lying to ourselves. We see the partisan politics for what they are, two clubs trying to gain access to the stream of tax dollars and jobs that the BOE and the township represent. Those of us who are non partisan are trying to look out for the district and township as whole. Our loyalty is to governance, not political party.

I vote at every election, I feel it is my duty. To have the right given to me by the fehtfaerors of the country. In their memory of all the pain and suffering they endorsed to give me the freedom to vote. I always take the time and read over the budget information as well as the candidates, I try to find information regarding them from my neighbors. I also look to see if I know them from any involvement with the school or township activities. Then I make my choice. This year I'm worry because the extra money we received in the one time only from Federal only keep the taxes the same I would have like to see them low our taxes. and next year when we don't receive the extra money we will have to raise taxes twofold

Well actually, Dozer I eleibve ALL of the school board candidates are Democrats, but they are not all of the same mindset. From my own observations, even though Stephanie is filling a temporary seat on the board, she has shown herself to be knowledgeable about the subjects being discussed, asks intelligent questions, and then votes accordingly. To put it frankly, I like her character. She will be a great asset to our school board as well as Patricia and Kyle. Electing school board members are about the heart and soul of the one running, where the needs of the children come before needs of their political party. As far as supporting Stephanie? Oh, you betcha!

, u r in no trouble at all if you put your trust and faith in Jesus. i have made and we all have made just as big mtasikes in life. we are human.getting a divorce is in conflict with what Jesus wants for us but most likely it was the decisions you made before the divorce that lead to the divorce. u r in no trouble with Jesus, He still loves you but He will want you to NOT do it again, get focused on Him and make all decisions with his guidance. u r wrong in getting a divorce. Jesus doesn't want u to get divorced. he wants u to stay in your marriage. but we all know that sometimes it is impossible. r u in trouble with God? it depends on what your definition of trouble is. God loves you and can correct you with discipline but isn't that what we need and desire? don't we want our Father to guide us to a right path? your view of trouble is my view of correction. and we all need correction. i want God to correct (punish) me when i do wrong. if i'm on a river that's headed to a waterfall do i want to stay on it and die? or would i rather have God drown my boat, ruin thousands of dollars of equipment, have me swim to shore and spare my life? u might say well, put yourself in my shoes . i truly cannot do that but i could ask you to put yourself in mine. did u pray wholeheartedly every day and ask for guidance from your Father in heaven and ask for counsel with your decision to get married? if you can honestly say that you did every day and focused on it (for it truly is a major decision in your life) and still ended up in divorce then i would be left with the thought that you made a tough decision to get divorced but it is still an action God doesn't want u to take. and i know that is tough. because here is the deal. i really believe that if you focused on God daily and truly put your heart into the decision to get married and let God work his power in that decision He would bring you the right person and you would NEVER get divorced. if you don't focus on God in your decisions then you are making a worldly, manly, sin infested decision and are rolling the dice so to say. some get lucky and make it some don't. i would bet that most don't. but i believe the ones that put Jesus first in their decisions and are true to it, make it. i'm not talking about saying or praying one time hey God this is me, help me with my decision and then never really meditating on it again. i'm talking about focusing on it and praying on it EVERY day. i didn't do a great job of it in my younger years, but i learned that it is a whole lot better doing it that way these days and it works. a famous baseball player once said playing the game of baseball is 90% mental . i used to think how stupid of a saying is that? but now in my older days i see how true it is. i used to think yeah right, michael jordan really needs to worry about the mental stuff doesn't he? 6'6 , can jump out of the gym and is the best scorer ever. BUT ..how did he get there? it was through massive mental dedication, that's how. and it is cooberated. anyone that ever came in contact with him said he is the most focused man they ever knew. it is the same with anything we do. ESPECIALLY God. he wants us mentally focused on him even more that 90%. not just in church but all the time. why not? it doesn't mean i have to stand and pray every second. it just means that i feel his presence and try to put Him first in everything i do. but i do feel that we need to set aside time to pray daily to Him.so i say all that to say this. God loves you just like your biological father OUGHT to love you and God loves us even more than that or more than we can imagine. if you focused on God daily and still decided to get a divorce i think God will correct you. maybe he already has through mental anguish, etc i don't know. God dislikes divorce but if you are truly his Child, he still loves you no matter what and will not forsake you. you are still his. you might go through a little correction (punishment) here on earth but trust me it is well worth it. it is a mere bump in the road compared to eternity in Heaven. God is telling you that you need to focus on Him on all your future decisions such as marriage. that is, unless you enjoy the pain and turmoil of what you have gone through, which i doubt you do.
